South London based trio Rameses III render some of the most unabashedly emotional avant-folk music you are likely to hear this year. Through blending together their many different influences (country-blues, eastern-european folk, singer/songwriter material, drone and the more interesting aspects of electronic music, amongst others) and some beautifully played fingerstyle/slide guitar, bowed ukulele, glockenspiel, plaintive vocals and computer-based noises, they've managed to create something fragile, restrained and ultimately quite special.
